This rainbow maker is for The Prince of Cool, Chet Baker, who kept me company while I doted over beads and prisms and tried to find the light in last winter. Designed using eight round shaped quartz beads, representing each phase of the moon (not to mention how distinctly they look like the moon in the light), a faceted and iridescent quartz stone, and crowned with a vintage tube and contemporary iridescent bead for additional refractions at her highest point, this light catcher ends with a full moon sized 30 mm crystal prism for large rainbow refractions in the sun. Pairs nicely with both the Winter Chandelier and Winter Chandelier Teardrop, she is stacked with cosmic lunar energy, the kind that makes you feel like you just want to get lost.
